Looking for : 1 volunteer from Kyrgyzstan. 18 to 30 years old. Interested in subject of: diversity, equality and ecological education with sustainable life style

Location: Project takes place between 2 locations with occasional trips to 3rd location

1. Łódź, Accommodation — city center
2. Marcinów — small village 50km from Łódź . Marcinów is location of Osada Twórców (you will spend here min 4 months of your project)
3. Occasional trips to Koluszki (small town) and Redzeń Stary (also a small village)

Hosting organization: KobieTY

Financial support: standard EVS pocket + food allowance (about 740 PLN per month)

Travel reimbursement: Based on the distance between your Łódź and your sending organization, Erasmus+ distance calculator. Participation in EVS is free of charge for the volunteer, except for the contribution to travel costs, which equals 10% of travel costs. Also, the volunteer is not entitled to reimbursement of expenses that are not related to the project. You will be covered for costs related to international travel, visas and insurance.

Insurance: standard Cigna EVS insurance program.

Project’s aim and description:

The aim of the project is to work on elimination of discrimination based on age, gender and ethnicity in Sweden, Poland and Kyrgyzstan by putting youth in local communities as agents for change, who strive for a more democratic and inclusive society. Accordingly, during EVS in Poland our objectives will be:

• To sensitize community members regarding the issues based on age, gender, place of origin or economical status through meetings and workshops.
• To enable people to become active citizens within their communities.
• promote sustainable life style and waken up creativity in people and their communities.
• To create regional and international platforms and educational opportunities for people in order to exchange best practices and experiences, share knowledge, skills and grow.

About KobieTY

We are non-political, non-governmental, non-profit organization, educational association working for over 10 years successfully through international cooperation and cultural exchange as a way of its development.

We have 10 years of experience in providing EVS projects (long and short term). During this time, we have coordinated up to 20 long term volunteers at the same time. We work with a subject of Diversity. For more info, visit our website.
